Biography

Ms. Huang Xuezhu graduated from West China Medical Center of Sichuan University and Tsinghua University, respectively, with a doctoral degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health and a master’s degree in Public Administration. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1997, she worked as a resident physician in the Department of Psychiatry. She obtained a master’s and doctoral degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University from July 2006 to August 2008. Promoted to Associate Chief Physician in 2013 and Chief Physician in 2019. In 2014, she went to the United States as a visiting scholar to observe and learn the clinical and teaching aspects of Psychiatry and Mental Health.

Ms. Huang has been engaged in clinical, scientific research, and teaching work in the field of Psychiatry and Mental Health since 1997. Approximately 100000 patients have been treated, including over 50000 patients with emotional disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, learning disabilities, and other conditions in children and adolescents; About 40000 people receive psychological counseling and treatment. Teaching and mentoring for approximately 20000 hours, cultivating over 200000 students and professionals. The research content includes psychological assessment tools for psychiatry, molecular genetics, environmental factors affecting mental and psychological disorders, emotions and behaviors, cognitive function, public hospital reform and management, etc.

Ms. Huang specializes in The Problems and Disorders of Feeding and Eating, Attachment, Psychological and Mental Development, Parent-child Relationship, ADHD and ASD during Infancy and Childhood. Character Deficit,Obsessive and compulsive Disorders, Learning Disorders,Social Anxiety, Environment Adaptation Disorders during Adolescents. Depression, Anxiety, Memory Dysfunction, Attention Deficit, Sleeping Disorders and Substance Dependence during Adulthood, including Postpartum.
