Zhifu SUN

Dr. Zhifu Sun graduated from Capital Medical University with a master’s degree in otolaryngology in 2017.
Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Sun worked in Beijing Anzhen Hospital and engaged in ENT clinical work for more than 9 years. He treated more than 3,000 ENT outpatient and emergency patients and completed more than 700 ENT common surgeries annually. Dr. Sun is skilled in treating all kinds of common diseases in ENT outpatient department including acute and chronic sinus/rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, foreign body in pharynx, rhinorrhea, otitis media, external otitis, sudden deafness, etc. He can independently complete a variety of ENT surgeries such as sinus opening, nasal septum deviation correction, nasal mass resection, tonsillar-adenoid resection, vocal cord mass resection, tympanic membrane repair, and auricle mass resection. Dr. Sun also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of olfactory and gustatory disorders.
He is a member of the International Association of Chemical Sensory Sciences (AChemS). He has visited the Olfactory Center of Dresden Medical School in Germany, the Olfactory Taste Center of University of Pennsylvania, and the Imaging Center of Pennsylvania State University. He has long maintained close research relationships with the scholars from Germany, the United States, Japan and other countries.
